Olivia is an Italian restaurant in Oslo, located right in the city centre. Actually there are a few Olivia restaurants in the capital of Norway, and you’ll find my favorite here: Bryggegangen 4, Oslo. I’ve lots count on how many evenings I’ve spent in the outdoor seating area in a comfy chair covered in lamb skin with a blanket, a glass of vine and some delicious crispy pizza.
The restaurant is on the sea side which means that if it’s warm enough and you choose to sit outside, you’ll have a lovely view no matter where you’re seated. Unfortunately you’ll miss the sunset, but I still appreciate the view.
They have a wide selection of pizza, pasta and salads. The menu also comes in English, which is handy for foreigners. The staff is very nice and most of them speak English, but you should expect some waiting time if the restaurant is very busy. There’s however no need to pre-book a table.
